Jonathan Good is back in the Mecosta County jail, the same one he escaped from last Wednesday. Good got out through a skylight, so deputies are checking others to make sure they haven't been tampered with.
Good was also arraigned Monday on the new charge of Escape From Jail While Awaiting a Felony Trial, which is a four-year felony. He could also face more charges of Breaking and Entering and Stealing a Car.
Good was recaptured without incident in Romulus Sunday when he was pulled over in a stolen car. He had been spotted in Clinton County earlier in the day and police believed he was heading toward Detroit. He and four teens from Charlotte were charged with a string of thefts in Mecosta County. Good was facing 31 charges, including attempted murder.
Mecosta County deputies say they've had escapes or at least attempts, like any jail, but there hasn't been one there in more than ten years.
State police used some of what they call their fugitive squads to close in on Good and help lead to his arrest.
