Three men from Lansing are facing charges after an armed robbery Monday night.
It happened at the Jackpot Party Store on South Cedar Street around 11:30pm. Police say one man entered the store, pointed a gun at the clerk and demanded money. The employee was not injured.
Responding officers noticed a suspicious vehicle just a few blocks away with one of the men matching the description of the suspect. Police pulled the vehicle over and arrested all three individuals. Evidence from the robbery, as well as a handgun, were located in the car.
Steve Anthony McCatrey, Marquis Antwon Demyers and Anthony Tyrone Jackson were all arraigned in front of a judge Tuesday morning. All men have been charged with armed robbery, while McCatrey was arraigned on additional charges include carrying a concealed weapon and felony firearm.
