Neighborhood Crime Watch

Tonight's News Ten Neighborhood Crime Watch is in search of the person who possessed a can of spray paint and poor taste.
The Eaton County Sheriff's Office recently received ten malicious destruction of property complaints in Vermontville.
Someone spray painted gang symbols all over town, targeting speed limit signs, stop signs,, and stone monuments at the Veterans Memorial Park on South Main street.
Other locations hit along South Main were: The First Congregational Church, Maple Leaf Inn, Vermontville Hardware, and Roadrunners bar..
Gang graffiti was also found at the Vermontville Fire Department of West First street, and at Maplewood Elementary School on Seminary street.

The Ingham County Sheriff's office recieved an anonymous tip tuesday about a possible marijuana growing operation in the 53-hundred block of Harper road in Delhi Township.
A deputy assisted the Tri-County Metro Narcotics Squad and found 22 pot plants,, the tallest about 14 feet high.
Officers tell me at today's medical marijuana prices, that harvest is valued at forty-thousand dollars.
A suspect has been identified.
