Authorities in Kalamazoo have labeled a fire that destroyed an observation deck at Mayor's Riverfront Park as "suspicious in nature."
The city's public safety department said Tuesday that officers found the large, wooden deck completely engulfed in flames after receiving a report on the fire at 11:20 p.m. Monday.
No one was injured.
The deck overlooks the Kalamazoo River.
