Neighborhood Crime Watch

Tonight's News Ten Neighborhood Crime Watch tells the tale of a suspected criminal and his unfortunate choice of hiding places.
The Eaton County Sheriff's Office was among many departments recently to receive a "be on the lookout" advisory for this man, Brandon Bernard Collins.
The 37-year-old Lansing man was wanted for a felony warrant issued by the Westland Police Deparment.
While on patrol,, an Eaton deputy identified his vehicle on I-69 and stopped it.
Once out of the car Collins reportedly pushed the deputy and ran into the brush.
Officers quickly set up a perimeter, and eventually spotted Collins behind these, a row of Michigan State Police cruisers in their motor pool lot.
Collins tried to make a run for it, but was nabbed by two state troopers and the Eaton County sheriff's deputy.
Besides the felony charges out of Westland, Collins now faces charges of assaulting an officer, and resisting arrest.
