Reporter: AP

Kalamazoo County residents may find their commute a little easier during the next snow storm thanks to a new snowplow on the streets.
The Michigan Department of Transportation is testing the Tow Plow in Kalamazoo County this week. The department says that the Tow Plow works like standard plow truck pulling another snowplow and can clear two lanes of snow at once.
The Tow Plow is expected to cut down on personnel and equipment costs as well as fuel consumption.
The plow is being used in on Interstate 94 in Kalamazoo and Portage. The state is testing the new plow for the week to see if it should be used throughout the rest of the region. The Tow Plow is also currently on the roads in Livingston County.
