After an inch to 2 inches of rain in the past 24 hours flooding remains a concern. A Flood Watch for the area continues until early this afternoon. Numerous rivers and streams have Flood Advisories in effect. You can check the latest river conditions here.

The steady rain turns to scattered showers this morning. As colder air settles in the rain will mix with snow by late afternoon and snow showers are expected tonight. Temperatures will be in downward spiral today. Readings drop from the 50s early today to the 30s by evening. Overnight lows drop to the teens.

Scattered snow showers are expected Thursday through Saturday. High temperatures all three days will be near 20. While just a few inches of snow are expected in Mid-Michigan over the next few days, it is a different story near the Lake Michigan Shoreline. From Barry County west to the lake shore a Lake Effect Snow Watch is in effect this evening through Friday. 6-12'' of Lake Effect Snow are possible in the Watch area through Friday.
