The final rainfall totals are in for the area and for July rainfall was around 1'' below normal in Lansing and Jackson. Rainfall during July was over 2'' below normal in Battle Creek.

At the airport in Lansing 1.75'' of rain was recorded, the normal for July is 2.84''. Lansing rainfall for the month was about 62% of normal and close to a half inch fell on the last day of the month.
In Jackson 2.12'' of rain fell during July. The normal July rainfall in Jackson is 3.58''.
Battle Creek recorded only 1.28'' of rain during July. The normal July rainfall in the Cereal City is 3.36''.
