The Lansing City Council voted Monday night to renew the city's snow-removal ordinance indefinitely. It had been set to expire July 30th. The Council chose not to reduce the amount of time homeowners have to clear their sidewalks. Council members had been considering cutting the amount of time after a first warning from 24 to 16 hours before city crews would clear the walk and bill homeowners.
