The National Hockey League confirms it presented a new comprehensive offer to the players association Thursday afternoon. No bargaining sessions are set between the parties. The players want to examine the contents over the weekend.
All NHL games are cancelled through January 14th and the feeling is if a deal is not reached by then the entire season will be cancelled.
