NHL Talks Fail With Mediator

After two days of work with a federal mediator, talks have broken off between the NHL negotiating parties. Thursday's session ended at 4pm at a New Jersey location. No new sessions are scheduled and likely will not include mediation help. The NHL says the two sides are still far apart on a labor agreement.
