Former Michigan State receiver Plaxico Burress has signed on with the NFL's Pittsburgh Steelers. The Steelers drafted Burress with the 8th pick in 2000. Burress spent five seasons with Pittsburgh. He has been out of football this fall after catching 45 passes for 8 touchdowns with the New York Jets last year. Burress worked out for the Steelers Tuesday morning before signing. The Steelers have several receivers on the sidelines with injuries.
