Franklin Gomez lost his qualification match to Russia's Besik Kudukhov in heartbreaking fashion when Kudukhov scored a point with 2 seconds remaining.

Gomez who was wrestling for Puerto Rico then fell in the Repechage Round 1 3-0 to Yogeshwar Dutt of India.
