Penn State president Rodney Erickson will make the final decision on whether Joe Paterno's statue remains in place at Beaver Stadium or is moved according to sources. A decision is expected within 72 hours. Penn State's board of trustees reportedly authorized Erickson to make the call after a spirited board discussion Thursday night. At issue is how the NCAA will interpret whatever moves Penn State makes from this point forward regarding the Sandusky case fallout.
