The semi-finals of the 96th Michigan women's amateur golf tournament begin at 8am Friday at MSU's Forest Akers West Course. Current Spartan and tournament top seed Liz Nagel from DeWitt will meet Brighton's Emmie Pietila. Both won a pair of matches on Thursday. Nagel was tourney medalist after 36 holes. In the following match 16-year old Jacqueline Setas, a junior to be at Lansing Catholic High School will meet former Spartan Natalie Brehm of Mount Pleasant. The two winners play at 1pm for the title.
