HIGHLAND, Mich. – Michigan State women’s golf head coach Stacy Slobodnik-Stoll won the Golf Association of Michigan (GAM) Women’s Mid-Amateur Championship on Wednesday at Prestwick Village Golf Club for the seventh time in her career.
Slobodnik-Stoll shot a 150 (71-79) in the two-day event, besting Joan Garety and Andrea Clark, who both tied for second at 156.
Slobodnik-Stoll won six consecutive GAM Women’s Mid-Amateur Championships from 2005-10 before finishing second last year. She was named the GAM Women’s Player of the Decade in 2010.
