They continue dodging thunderstorms at the Travelers Championship in Cromwell, Conn. Titleholder Fredrik Jacobson is the second round leader at minus 9 after a 66 Friday. Stuart Appleby is two back among a trio of players. U. S. Open champ Webb Simpson is minus 5 after a one under 69 Friday. First round leader David Mathis followed up his opening 64 with a 3 over 73 to fall six shots behind.
