Send Preston Wins Michigan Amateur

Ada's Drew Preston, a player on the Bowling Green team, won the 101st Michigan Amateur golf championship Friday at Oakland Hills Country Club's North Course. Preston rallied from two down to win two up over 2009 champ Tom Werkmeister of Kentwood. Preston won his semi-final match Friday morning over Bowling Green teammate Wesley Gates of Novi 4 and 3.
