The USGA has paired up Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson and Bubba Watson in the first two rounds of next week's U. S. Open golf championship at the Olympic Club in San Francisco. The threesome tees off at 10:33am Michigan time Thursday and 4:29pm Friday. Rory McIlroy, Lee Westwood and Luke Donald are in another pairing. Players will tee off both nines, but instead of the 10th hole, the 9th hole will be used since it is much closer the clubhouse than the 10th tee-- yes that's new.
