The Big Ten awards its medal of honor annually to a female and male athlete from each of the conference's 12 schools. Wednesday, Michigan State learned that Kirk Cousins is the men's winner from football and Jennilee Rathje of the volleyball team won on the women's side. The honors go to graduating seniors who have attained the greatest proficiency in athletics and scholastic work.
