Purdue moved closer to its first Big Ten baseball title since 1909 Friday with a 4-0 win over Michigan at West Lafayette. The 15th ranked Boilermakers improved to 15-4 in conference play with five league games remaining, two more at home this weekend against the Wolverines. Michigan only had four hits en route to the loss, dropping its season record to 20-30. Purdue is 38-9 on the season.
