MSU Softball Rained Out

Michigan State's softball game with Western Michigan Thursday at Secchia Stadium was rained out in the 4th inning and will not be made up. Western was leading 1-0 but the Spartans had the bases loaded with one out when play was called for the day. Thus MSU's losing streak remains intact at 13 straight and the Spartans have lost 20 of their last 21 en route to their current 11-36 record. They have seven games remaining, all at home, with Northwestern next up, set for a 1pm Saturday doubleheader.
