Send Tigers Whip Royals

The Detroit Tigers built up a 9-0 lead by five innings and went on to a 9-3 win over the Kansas City Royals. The Tigers are now 4-0 against the Royals this season and the teams conclude their series with a 1:05pm game Wednesday. The Tigers are now 12-11 on the season. Rick Porcello was the starting and winning pitcher for the Tigers, who had 14 hits during the night.
