Bonderman Wants to Make Comeback

Former Detroit Tigers pitcher Jeremy Bonderman says he wants another shot at playing in the major leagues. the 29 year old right hander had elbow ligament replacement surgery Tuesday to help him attempt to make a comeback next spring. Bonderman has not pitched since 2010 when he had an 8-10 record and 5.53 earned run average in 29 starts. His career record is 67-77 over eight seasons with the Tigers. In the World Series year, 2006, Bonderman was 14-8. A blood clot in his right shoulder ended his career.
