Wisconsin has released redshirt freshman basketball player Jarrod Uthoff from his scholarship saying he can transfer anywhere outside the Big Ten. Originally, the 6-8 Uthoff had a list of potential schools severly limited and it drew criticism toward Wisconsin coach Bo Ryan. Uthoff is from Cedar Rapids, Iowa and plans to look at Iowa State among other schools after playing sparingly for the Badgers this past season.
