Haslett's Bill Mory, 53, is in the field for the 156-man U. S. Senior Open golf championship. Play begins Thursday at Indianwood in Lake Orion. Mory's son, Chris, will caddy. Chris just completed his career at Michigan State. Bill is owner of Meridian Sun Golf Club. He was first alternate until the USGA notified him Monday morning a cancellation enabled him to join the field.
