Haslett's Chris Mory has the first round lead at the Lansing all city golf championship which began Friday at MSU's Forest Akers East. Mory fired a 65 without birdieing the drivable par 4 18th hole. Mory was the top member on the MSU varsity team this spring but has now graduated and is about to turn pro. Defending champion Nathan Clark of Mason fired a 66 and Holt High School graduate Trent Tuttle is in a group tied for third after 67s. Those three will all play the tougher West Course Saturday and then Eagle Eye on Sunday.
