The Lansing Lugnuts dropped a 9-8 matinee game on Friday in Midland to the Great Lakes Loons. The Lugnuts ended up losing two out of three in the series. The Lugnuts now have a 19-8 record on the season. The Lugnuts next host the West Michigan White Caps in their next three games beginning at 7:05pm Saturday. The White Caps are the Tigers' class A affiliate and they feature first baseman Jeff Holm who played a year ago at Michigan State. Holm is 4 for 8 in his first two games for the White Caps.
