The Lansing Lugnuts led 6-0 through six innings Wednesday and went on to defeat the Kane County Cougars 7-2 at Cooley Law School Stadium. The game began a six game homestand and the teams meet again at 7:05pm Thursday. Jessie Hernandez was the starter and winning pitcher for the Lugnuts whose record improves to 15-5, best in the Midwest League.
