The Detroit Tigers lost 5-2 at Chicago to the White Sox on Friday, the home opener for new manager Robin Ventura. Max Scherzer gave up three runs over six innings and suffered the loss-- he is now 0-1. The Tigers' record is now 5-2. Delmon Young's 7th inning two run homer off winning pitcher Jake Peavy provided the Tigers with their only runs.
