No, Joe, because they were trying to rush through as many idiotic laws as they could before the Republicans lost the majority. I agree with a part-time legislature but the lame duck thing was PATHETIC.

Before one of these people tell us how hard they work, have them explain the last couple of week of December, when in lame duck they worked. Although I didn't agree with the way the lame duck session transpired, at least they weren't sitting on their backsides. A part time legislature is exactly what we need. How much money saved would be unbelievable.

ABSOLUTELY! That's the best idea that's come out of the legislature in a very long time. Many other states are very successful with part-time legislators. Let's make it happen.

Yes! Do it! They only work part-time anyway. Too many "breaks" and vacations, only there for several months, not 12 like normal people working full-time jobs. Yet they get Life-time benefits. LIFE-TIME! It's the biggest scam around.

I believe if lawmakers are going to work part-time(they do anyway don't they?, they should not receive benefits or perks. They should be treated just like WE THE PEOPLE!
