Jackson County Woman Charged in Drunk Driving Accident

The Jackson County woman accused of driving drunk and crashing her car into a tree has been arraigned.
51 year old Terri Slattery was charged with Operating While Impaired Causing Injury Friday afternoon.
The accident happened around 10:30pm Wednesday, at Dew and Hanover Roads in Hanover Township. A passenger in the car, 57 year old James Wallace of Concord, was taken to U of M Hospital for his injuries. At last check, his condition was serious.
Deputies don't believe Wallace was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash. Slattery's injuries were minor.
