I get offended by people cursing so even if she said it to herself and somebody heard it, they have the right to report her. I especially am tired of cursing in movies and on tv and often avoid going to a movie if there is cursing (or violence) in the previews, change channels, or avoid watching certain shows. Although, sometimes the bleeps are even more annoying. Mainly, it makes the person sound uneducated. If people would take their schooling seriously, they would know what words to use to properly espress themselves. And, if they are at a loss for words, there are other simple words that will work. I know several people that say sugar pops and a few that say drat. Sometimes, a heavy sigh is just enough to release tension.

What ever happened to freedom of speech? I agree that the use of profanity is not "nice," but aren't we all adults here? I admit that I use profanity ... way more often than I should ... but what ever happened to people minding their own business? This article states nothing about anyone being hurt by this woman's words. Get a life, Judge!

Just goes to show that the people in the courts think they are GOD! Thankfully an Honorable Judge did the right thing and released her.

this whole case was so un-necessary to start with. Contemp by swearing happens in court houses or their offices more times than you want to count. Its a case of Judge wearing his robe too tight. If the person had of been white, would he have reacted the same? I think not. That Judge needs a few santions against him with the Court police
