This was before the buy back, so it worked quite well.
You shoot someone then take the gun to get $100 gift card to sell on the street to buy more drugs, and let the police destroy the evidence for you.

I used to live there and there has been at least one other time I heard gun fire there during a party. these people are idiots there's no good reason for it.

no surprise there , my daughter lived there for a few months and the lack of concern by the staff is indrifference. She ended breaking the lease after their refusal to change her to a different apt. due to one girl bullying, and having her family move in , partying all the time and doing crack , staff told her it was her problem plus we found out a girl was attack in the same building after she move in...even though we ask them of any crime at their complex . its all about making a dollor. dtn took over a few years, ago i certainly hope they got rid of the airheads that work there and i also hear that the police are consently over there. It's no wonder why they have a banner calling themselves "PARTY TOWN'.

I have lived in apartments adjacent to College Town apartments for 5 years and this is the first shooting I have heard of. Far from a norm in this part of Lansing at least.

So much for the guns for groceries thing. It's getting beyond ridiculous.

I'm not sure if sad or just pathetic...but shootings are so commonplace in Lansing nowadays that they seem like the norm. How the once mighty capital city of Michigan hath fallen...

its kinda a 2 edged sword porbably. if someone does come forward then they are "narcs" and lose credibility and possibly open themselves to retribution. also its a lack of trust between the people wanting to report it and to whom they report it.there is also the possibility that it is a gang thing and they are waiting to "get back" at the others...which is probably more likely...
