To no name: Most people who are 50 and over have worked most of their lives and due to Eron, the Stock market, or ill health have watched their savings dwindle to nothing. Without SS and medicare they are lost, and you koolaid remark is not needed. People have died because they had to choose between medicine and food. People are living on nothing, and you want to give the rich a big tax break, and stick it to the rest of us? I am so not impressed with you.

Seems the IRS let people right here steal over 3 million what makes you think they would go after someone else.

Sick humor does nothing to solve the problem. Ryan said 2 years ago that SS was an entitlement. We are not asking for government money just our own. Also we have been paying into medicare, and want that also. If I wanted to follow Jim Jones I would have done it years ago. You are an extremely sick person.

I AM 67 STILL WORKING FULL TIME, AND DON'T KNOW WHEN I WILL BE ABLE TO RETIRE. I PAID INTO SOCIAL SECURITY SINCE I WAS 16, I WANT MY MONEY. DON'T SEE WHY I PAY MORE IN TAXES THAN SOMEONE MAKING A LOT MORE THAN I DO.. I WORK WITH PEOPLE WHO MAKE 400 OR MORE A WEEK MORE THAN I DO AND PAY LESS TAXES. GO FIGURE

Nope! Because many of those within his own administration are not paying and they are still in their jobs.

RT, not being nasty but, I am well educated and have many skills and make just about 9.00 an hour because I am considered either "overqualified" or "not enough experience", or "you are not a vet" so finding a job is difficult for many. I work to keep food on the table and work very hard to keep applying for each rejection letter knowing that one of those will turn into an interview. With that little money, there is nothing to spend on more schooling and going further into debt is not an option. Some of us are not lazy and "wishing for better pay" but just can't seem to get to the right place or the right person to fix our situation. There are many hard workers who are educated making little money because the job market sucks. Not all of us are lazy with our hands out or uneducated. Just saying.

Please, they are not trying to get rid of medicare and social security. The systems are already bankrupt practically from all of the "good people" who abuse the system and commit fraud. We just want it fixed and to eliminate the fraud and wasteful spending, not scrap the whole system.

Right...and obama (capitalization ommitted out of contempt for the man and all he stands for) is one of the middle-class. His wife wears $500 sneakers and you want to give grief to Romney for being a successful businessman who actually knows what it means to sign someone elses' paycheck and create jobs for others. I certainly hope Romney wants to pay less in taxes than he already does--I hope EVERY American wants to do the same!! If someone is only making 40K per year and is complaining about it...maybe they should do something to learn a new skill or get a better education to EARN a higher salary. I don't know about anyone else but I'd like to be one of those super-rich folks who can afford $500 sneakers!!...and I want to keep every last dime of my own money and pay as little tax as possible!!

No one expects Romney to pay a dime more than what he is required to pay, but every American has the right to see what he paid. Shame on our tax codes if he didn't pay as much as "RT", "Dan" or "Connie." He has nothing to worry about if he followed the tax codes as flawed as the tax codes may be, even if he paid no taxes.
