I will vote for the repeal of the Public Act 4 in November. The state should not have the power to set-up a dictator in a community that answers to no one. Nor, should the people of a community have their right to elect the leaders of their own choice taken away. WILX should also do story on how the Emergency Managers of Benton Harbor and Flint have used their positions for their own personal gain.

Problem is that you have giant egos in Detroit that are digging in their heels and will not give up until Detroit has bankrupted itself. They should consider themselves fortunate to have an emergency manager bail them out. The other alternative is to crash and burn. Seems pretty obvious, but the Detroit City Council is completely clueless.

Hopefully people will realize that teh EFM helps municiplaities get back on its feet and save the retirements and benefits of everyone who worked for them. If the municiplaities goes bankrupt or is dissolved, those retirement funds and benefits go.
