Your Mom is utilizing Medicaid for the right reasons. IN a health crisis, especially at her mature age....she has earned the benefit for her fight. I may be wrong, however....the majority of people that don't agree with the expansion of this HAND UP program are fed up with handing out of generational abuse of the system. We are fed up with the baby mama's that continue to have children yet do nothing to financially support the ones they already have. We are fed up with the abuse of temporary assistance. We are fed up with government ignoring that temporary "quick-fixing" is not a solution to the costs of health insurance premiums.
Personally, I'm glad your mom wasn't denied help. Your Mom deserves the help. No one asks for cancer. I hope she heals, and knows she is fighting the good fight. God Bless :D

Medicaid excpansion is needed but it has to be done with discretion and planning. This is the time to put the "strings attached" into the plan. Health care yes but health care recipients must have mandatory standards to meet. No smoking, no excess children, no obesity, and they must show a daily regiment of exercise.

the fools of middle and upper class. The ones who make too much to qualify for it but are too poor to make it to the upper class. And if they start taxing any more on the upper class, jobs will disappear. Everytime they try to tax the upper class it affects at lest 10 middle class paychecks.

More Medicaid. Who pays for it? Ah, that's right. Your article fails to mention where the money is coming from.
