It's sad that the State Of Michigan after over 22 years still does not care about the concerns or welfare of their own handicapped employees!! In May 1990, I was left stranded in the 3rd floor stairwell of the Transportation Building waiting for firemen to rescue me during an oil spill evacuation, but The firemen never came, so me and another handicapped person had to walk down 3 flights of stairs to get out. In October 1990, during the Capitol Restoration Project chemical seepage, I was unable to get back to my 3rd floor office because someone forgot to push the button to re-activate the elevators. I also had to do battle regarding handicapper parking in the Capitol Commons Complex underground parking lot. I received a parking space, but don't know how many of the other people on the waiting list got a space. It's ironic that the big shots in the Supreme Court Building have suiperior accomodations, yet the poor working class of state employees get left to fend for themselves!!
SO MUCH FOR TAKING CARE OF STATE HANDICAPPER WORKERS!!! WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ABOUT THE SIUTUATION BIG SHOTS??

It sounds bad, but when a union boss does some like this, there is something up with his job. It looks like he wants to have job/salary protection.
