I do not support Romney's point of view. I thik that education is very important today, it's a priority. It's not just professional knowledge you get, it develops you personally and makes you a smarter person. Most of waelthy people arewell-educaed, and Romney should understand that. Even if you have a degree it can be hard to find a job. Without a degree it's much more difficult, everything you can hope for is to get a job with an average wage and live through payday advances. There are occasions when people with no degree get rich, but there not so many these lucky ones.

We can teach our kids how to survive in the hood though.

Our public education is not worth it. All we seem to teach now a days is how to pass the state test.As for loans, why fund a program where the default rate within the first 2 years after college keeps rising? Talk about throwing away money. For profit schools keep raising tuition and students aren't getting jobs that can pay for that, or even in some cases get a job. Talk about setting our kids up to fail? Go with vouchers and let parents get the most out of their tax dollar and pick the schools that are succeeding instead of making them go to failing schools. Our education system can't compete with schools in the Eastern world. We are a joke.
