No matter how often you "clean a body" decomposition stinks. You can't wash it away.

I heard that she cleaned the body---so that it would not smell-(she would have to do that everyday)--but they don't mention that in this story.. There is more than fraud going on here---Psychotic comes to mind!

She's obviously a nut-case with NO SENSE OF SMELL .....I can't believe that no one missed him or that no one smelled that.........she had no visitors all that time ??? Makes no sense to me.....

Our uncle passed alone in his home in May. It was 18 days before he was found. It was only because of the rotting smell that the neighbors knew something was wrong. Everything in the house except wood or metal had to be destroyed. How did she live with it? She would have smelled like it when she went to the store. You can't cover it up.

Actually watching her movements as she talks, and what she says, does make me beleive she may have alzheimer's type dementia with sundowners, but a psych eval with observation of at least 24-48 hours would need to be completed to determine this.

Honestly, with her age & the occurance that happened, I would be thinking of possible dementia on her part. Maybe she felt he was really still there, especially if she were to have the sundowner's type. Someone with sundowner's my appear to be all there, but if you watch them closely, they're really not, their sense of reality is false. At one moment she may realize he's dead, but in the next moment she could be conversating with him and beleive he's answering back.
