Then I take it you're for the prohibition of cigarettes and alcohol which are both far more harmful and are actually proven to debilitate and kill people every day. Marijuana has nothing to do with why "this place is falling apart". The only reason the Federal Government doesn't want to legalize it is because, unlike cigarettes and alcohol, people can grow (produce) their own, making it not as easy for the government to overtax and make revenue off of...but it is still possible, if they would only do the proper research and implement proper procedures for such.

About time. Let's hope the state of MI follows suit, taxes it, benefits from the money, and most importantly allows the police to deal with the crimes that really matter.
