Albion Teacher Suspected of Sex With Student

ALBION -- An Albion High School music teacher has turned himself into authorities on charges he had a sexual relationship with a 15-year-old female student.

Thirty-one-year-old Bowen Wall faces two counts of criminal sexual conduct in the first degree, and his bond has been set at $50,000.

The student and her mother reported Tuesday to the Albion Department of Public Safety that the girl had a sexual relationship with Wall. A warrant was issued Friday, and Wall turned himself in Friday night.

ADPS is asking anyone in the community with information to call them at 517-629-7824 or 517-629-7827.

Albion Public Schools Superintendent Bobbi Moreheard, meanwhile, has released a statement saying the school can't comment specifically on the matter.

"But I want to make it very clear -- Albion Public Schools does not tolerate any unprofessional conduct by any of our employees."
