Suspect Arrested in River Trail Assault

Lansing police have arrested a suspect in the assault on a 62-year-old woman on the River Trail Sunday afternoon. The suspect has not been arraigned yet and the person's name is not being released as of Monday night. The woman told police she was attacked while she was taking a break from a bike ride near Beech and Elm. She described her attacker as a man in his 50s with shoulder-length gray hair and glasses.
