Shooting On Waverly Road

An early Sunday shooting in Lansing has sent one man to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

It happened around 3:30 a.m. on the 5300 block of South Waverly Road in Lansing.

Police do not believe the shooting was random. Officers say the 38-year-old victim knew his attacker.

Authorities are following leads on a suspect, but say the case is still under investigation.
