Reporter: News 10

A Jackson couple has been found guilty in the deaths of two drug dealers.

It took jurors a little more than three hours to convict Richard Janish and Barbara Mercer.

Janish was found guilty of 2nd degree murder for Thomas, and voluntary manslaughter for Hannah. Mercer was found guilty of 2nd degree murder for both Thomas & Hannah.

Mercer & Janish were also both found guilty of arson and tampering with evidence.

Anthony Hannah and Shemel Thomas were killed Halloween night at the couple's home in Leoni Township and their bodies were set on fire in a car.

Both Mercer and Janish will be back in court for sentencing in August.
