I agree. They should have signs back on 94 telling about it. My husband and I were caught in all that traffic. It took over an hour to get from barnes rd to kipps. It was a mess....I dont know about these truck drivers anymore...seems like they are losing their ablity to drive safe anymore....
So in other words, you think spilled asphalt is more newsworthy than a local Olympic gold medalist and her family?

I gald you finally got the story. During the Today Show Newsbreaks, you still had it as a sticky substance was covering the road. Channel 6 did a live shot and had the substance as liquid ashpalt. This was all done before the Today Show was even on. Come guys is this laziness or just lack of ability. In addition to this coverage, the other morning at 6AM the frist story at the top of the hour was that Jordyn Wieber's mother was retuning from the Olympics that day...say what? That's headline news for sure. Your News Director should be fired.
Someone needs to post police on the detour route to avoid further issues.
