Testimony from a DNA expert Tuesday placed Matthew Macon at the scenes of two murders.
The focus was on three items: a bloody glove found at Sandra Eichorn's home, a baseball cap found at the Hickory Street home where Karen Delgado-Yates was murdered, and a shoe obtained with a search warrant from the home of Dorothy Moore.
She's the mother of Macon's children.
Earlier testimony connected the shoe to a bloody footprint at the Yates murder scene.
The samples were taken and run through a database.
"The name that came back was Matthew Emanual Macon," said DNA expert Jeffrey Nye.
He also testified Davin Lewis and Melvin Hobbs are in the same database. They are the two men the defense is arguing committed these crimes -- not Macon.
But Macon's name is the only one linked to the DNA results.
