Local Marine Competing in Wounded Warrior Trials

Lance Corporal Blake Bibbins of Brooklyn is one of more than 300 Marines competing in the Wounded Warriors Trials in California this week.

The 21-year-old machine gunner is seen in pictures practicing archery. Lance Corporal Bibbins suffers from a traumatic brain injury, post-traumatic stress disorder and balance issues.

The top 50 performing Marines will compete in the Wounded Warrior Games in Colorado in May.
