We wouldn't have to be cutting the budget if jobs were here in MI.So why don't all them in upper gov do something about that.Lets face it.Only CUTS will be done That effects the poorer ones, children,as in schools. And very needed programs to help thousands now till jobs do come to MI.The rich won't have to suffer a bit.Nor does any in upper government. Those with good jobs will be alright. As prices continue to go up ,more will not afford.More homes will go up for sale or the banks will foreclose.Buy a cheaper home?Taxes remain high.Pay 30,000,it may be worth 60,000 and you are taxed for that, not what you paid. Then on top of all other bills many are not buying. One thing leads to another. Many banks have closed. Many have lost jobs.Soon jenn will be out of office,so No I don't think she cares what happens to many.So who we vote in may not care either. They just want the name and money.D or R are all evil and greedy.

BIG government, creates BIG problems. You can't trust either party becuase the problems are so big you can't put a figger on it. How many still want BIG government health care. You think we have problems now???

All cuts to this or that says many will be laid off? This says that more tax money will be lost. For almost 8 yrs Mi government has failed on getting jobs into MI.The math don't add up to why Mi is so broke?I never seen MI in this condition.I really don't think either party knows what they are doing. Then again,if us voters don't like what one party is doing we vote for the other party. Not all D are bad or all R are.Why do we judge all by one? This is making matters worse. It gives more room for their little spiteful ways against each other. The people are caught in the middle and nothing is getting done in the right ways.We seem to be ending up with bad no matter who gets in office.

Laying off people just ends up with less tax money being paid.Less tax money must mean everyone, low income, those already in poverty, disabled, social security people and every one now in the hole mich government has put them in.Get 00000 and less than that? While every bit of tax money for anything comes after upper government ones get their pay? They must also keep who ever they wish rich, and continue to take away from the rest to keep whom ever rich?We see some millages passing in many areas after the school cuts.Sad that those saying yes, will hurt the many who can't afford.I guess the time has come that the lower incomes now have NO right to own homes or have a life. The government keeps causing people to loose jobs,so they loose tax money. The people loose everything they have worked for.How many children are caught up in this evil government we now see?At least GOD will make many things clear to government ones in the end. There are some sins God won't forgive.

I am thinking that Governor Granholm is using Budget cuts as a code word for I give up, come on Jennifer, I am a union employee, and I don't want you back.

How many monkeys does it take to run MI state government?More lay offs? Those people will never be called back to work. Why can't there be some cuts in how many monkeys it takes to run this state, their pay needs cut as much as they cut everyone else. That would be a big part in the budget fix.Example.School students each got 300$ cut so cut upper gov pay 300$ each. All loosing their pay and jobs, cut that from each upper gov person.if one makes 40,000,gets laid off because of what gov has done to mich, take that from one upper gov person, the laid off person pay.Soon the governments pay will be equal to what the rest of us get000.Job for job,pay for pay.JOBS are what MI needs.Gov did not do what they were suppose to to get jobs here.So they cut themselves short of tax money and should be treated as they treat people and the things needed in MI,They have caused many to loose everything, why do they deserve better?

How about the governor and the rest of the lawmakers take back the 30% pay raise they gave themselves a few years back.

1.4 billion is about 2% of 700 billion--not 20%. Maybe we should spend more money on education so they can learn basic multiplication.
