Beginning at 8:45 p.m Wednesday night, News Ten crews spotted a lot of flooding on I-94E, US-127S, and on M-50.
There were a few blockages on M-50 heading toward Brooklyn, including a few trees. Police urge drivers to use caution.
There were reports of severe damage in Summit Township, but the Summit Township Fire Department said they made a sweep through the township and found little damage, but a lot of flooded streets.
"We were called out for a lot of fire alarms, but we didn't find many blockages," Doug Evert said, "but we did find a lot of flooding. Drivers need to be careful."
Evert said he did hear over the radios that the Columbia Fire Chief confirmed he saw a funnel cloud.
